Now that I’ve had my toolbox for about six months I decided to do an update to my original video. I love this toolbox. It has room for everything that I need in my garage, looks great, and is very solidly constructed. I would definitely buy this again.

  1. What is the width of the wooden top without the pull handle? Can’t seem to find it anywhere. I assume its about 68 to 69"?

  2. YOU CAN CUT THE CRANK AND ATTACH IT ON YOUR DRILL PLUS THE BOTTOM WHEN ITS HIGH YOU CAN PUT SOME WOOD IN THERE

  3. I was curious on the plug for the power strip. Is the flush type plug or the standard stick straight out type? Thanks for the review.

  4. Thanks for the video. I have two of the 72" husky black tool boxes in my garage now. Was thinking about buying this one for a stand up desk in my garage. How does the wood top attach to the supports that move up and down. I’d like to move the top a few inches forward. Look doable? Thanks again.

  5. What’s your thoughts on this versus the harbor freight box? Was thinking about getting this one or the HF one for my job, I have a roll cart also but am torn on how these boxes hold up, I can’t find much info on long term ownership of husky boxes

  6. Is there a hex bolt head that would fit in the handle hole and just chuck that up in a drill?

  7. Thank you for this update. Im looking at the 52” version for my own shop.

Do you have any concerns about the mechanism for the height? Im fearful of storing something in that top compartment and having the mechanism break on me. Can you tell what type of mechanism it is that provides the linear motion?

  8. Anyone have problems with the wood top , I cannot get mine to up, it wants to raise only on 1 side?

  9. You could get a top box that is mostly air inside if you want to store outsized objectes in it, you could have your battery chargers in it too just leave it open when charging.

  10. Man when you rolled the top up on the first video that you made it really sold me on the idea of adding a Wilton Vise on the top corner. I’ll have to go to HD to see if the empty space is wide enough to drill bolts without interfering with the center. Good Video Thanks.

  11. Is this box built with 18 gauge steel or 19 gauge? I see on Home Depot’s website it’s listed as 19 gauge, but when you watch their video they say 18 gauge steel?? 🤷‍♂️
